Keima Christian Coates’ childhood was filled with “holiday guys,” absentee parents–including her own father–who returned every year at Christmas only to disappear again. Her father’s absence left a hole in her life and the fear that, like her mother and grandmother, she would never find a reliable man.
Today, we hear Keima’s story of realizing the power of having her mother and grandmother in her life and finding a lasting partnership.
